Class
Schedule ***All
classes except for the beginning stamp classes require that you attend
the beginning stamp class or have basic stamping knowledge. * Bring
basic supplies to each class: markers, colored pencils, scissors, exacto
knife, cutting board, black memory or permanent ink pad, pencil, ruler,
bone folder, baby wipes and glue stick and/or double-sided tape.
Some classes may require you to bring additional supplies so
check in each class description and class supply list which can be found
online or pick up a hard copy at the store.
Beginning
stamping:
Learn the basic techniques of rubber-stamping.
Learn the proper use of various stamp products and several
stamping techniques such as embossing.

Trends:
Anything but Basic!- Get your hands on the “gotta-have” paper from
Basic Grey. We’ll turn an
ordinary paint can into an altered work of art!
They’re a great way to give a gift:
Think Spa Delights or Valentine’s Day cookies or a birthday
gift tucked neatly inside. Then
we’ll alter those little tins with the fun, cute Chatterbox papers!
They’re a neat alternative to cards and they can be used as

Inks:
This class will highlight the gorgeous colors of nature using the
Adirondack palette of alcohol inks from Granger.
Marty briefly demonstrated some of these techniques in the store
in November. Here is your chance to play yourself and experience how
addicting these colors and techniques can be.
Learn new ways to incorporate these inks into your projects.

Fresco:
This class should be called Remember Why You Love Fresco Inks.
We will be using Fresco inks in both the original colors and
introducing you to a slew of new colors that are equally beautiful.
We will be creating special cards using a variety of techniques
that will get the Fresco fire lit in your heart.

Backgrounds and Cards:
In this class, Marty will show you how to use Ancient Page inks
to create beautiful backgrounds to raise your stamped images to a higher
level. The technique is
widely applicable to a number of paper projects and will astonish you in

Each month we will select three cards from the SOM Board to be

Motion Cards:
Come learn the secrets behind these fun cards!
In this class with Laura, you’ll be learning how to create
Magic Window cards and Magic Slider cards.
Each inter-active card contains a surprise that will both
intrigue and delight the recipient. You will also receive full patterns and directions for each
card. Bring all basic
supplies to class plus super-sticky double sided tape (red-liner tape).

Cards Plus:
In this class you will be making cards highlighting a very
popular technique called “Retiform Grid” or just “Grid”.
You will also be using and learning some variations of this
technique. This is a cool
technique with virtually limitless possibilities.
Bring basic supplies along with a stipple brush and post-it notes

Desk Calendar:
Ring in the New Year with a beautiful new hand-stamped calendar
for your desk. Laura will
teach you this simple, fun, eye-catching stamped desk calendar that uses
the humble CD case in a clever way.
The case becomes a self-storing unit for the pages of up-coming
months. Come check it out!

Class:
This class will cover the basic scrap-booking design principles
for the beginning scrap-booker. (Experienced
scrap-bookers are more than welcome to join us and share ideas!)
This will include color combinations, basic layout, journaling,
cropping photos, and adding embellishments.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the overall theme
of the class will be ‘LOVE’. In
addition to the scrapbook page, we will be making a simple Valentine to
keep or give to your sweetheart!

Pyramids:
In this class you will create an innovative pyramid which is
great for collaging, scrap booking or use it as a special greeting card.

Handmade Journal Book:
Learn how to make a basic stitched hardbound book that can be
used as a journal, notebook or dairy for you or someone else.
We will then embellish the book’s cover worth a variety of
collage materials. Class

Art: Using
the Sharpie marker technique with Cat’s Life Press domino stamps you
will create several finishes pieces which can be used as jewelry pieces,
embellishments for cards and more!

Stop in the store during Make it & Take It and complete a

Join Marty from 1:30-3:30 as she demos new products and

Night Backroom Bonanza: Come in on Thursday
Evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and use our backroom for $3.00. This entitles you op our great stamp collection, punch and
stencil collection. You
will also have use of our Accu-cut Die machine, the new Zip’e Mate Die
cut machine and our Quik-Kut die. You
must supply your own inks, embossing powders, paper and baby wipes along
with your basic stamping supplies.
We have tons of scrap papers you are welcome to use but we do ask
that your other papers be purchased at our store.
So come on in and have a blast!!!!
