Class Descriptions


All classes require that you have attended the beginning stamp class, or have basic stamping knowledge. Please read the 'class policy' listed at the end of this class list. It is imperative that you bring your Basic Kit to each class. Before attending class, please check the website for any additional supplies that may be needed. We will attempt to post supply lists for all of the classes within 48 hours of the first session. There is a 10% discount offered on class-specific items, only. This discount does not apply to basic supplies, unless they are used in a technique specifically taught during that class.

Basic Stamping Kit
A permanent black dye ink pad, assorted markers/colored pencils, a quickie glue pen, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser, scissors, an exacto knife & cutting mat, double-sided tape, a craft pad, a brown ink pad with a distressing tool, one clear and one black gel pen, a clear Wink of Stella pen, foam tape, and your favorite paper adhesive.


Basic Scrapbook Kit
?12” paper trimmer, scissors, fine fussy cutting scissors, an exacto knife & cutting mat, a brown ink pad with a distressing tool, a 12” ruler, a variety of adhesives (including a tape runner), liquid glue or a glue stick, foam pop squares, a pencil and an eraser.?


Beginning Stamping

Come and learn the basic techniques of rubber and acrylic stamping! In this class you will learn the proper use of various stamp products along with several stamping techniques including embossing. All supplies are included.

Beginning Pencils 3.0
Many of our most favorite images are coled with Prismacolor Pencils. We are excited to now offer Faber-Castell Polychromos as open stock. We will show you how to color, blend, and achieve beautiful life-like colored images with these pencils along with our traditional Prismacolors. We have chosen a new selection of images to practice and learn color pencils.Bring your pencils and  basic kit and check the website for any additional supplies you may need.

Beginning Copics
Let us demystify Copic markers for you. Learn the numbering system and how it helps you combine colors for successful blending and coloring. Bring your Copics, Basic Kit and check the web site for any additional supplies you may need.

Monthly Layout Class
Please join us for our monthly layout class for 2024. Each month we will present a 12x12” double page layout that features a new technique or product.  The Sunshine on My Mind Collection will be featured this month. Check the Class Photo page for a picture of the  layout. What a great way to create a fun summer page.

Graphic 45
We love the bright, sunny, fruity deliciousness of Graphic 45's Sunshine on My Mind collection. Sharon has created a fun and summery collection of cards that will also utilize a selection of this collection's die cut images. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any additional items you may need.

Memory Box Mini Slimline Cards
Memory Box has released its next in a series of floral dies. This new set is based on Fuchsia or 'Bleeding Hearts'. These delicate, hanging flowers are used in this class to decorate a popular alternative to the standard A2 size card by utilizing the mini slimline size of card. Beautiful magenta, pink and lavender coloring along with Memory Box's unique shadowed sentiment dies compliment these lovely cards. Your coloring is done with Copic markers but feel free to bring your favorite coloring medium. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any other supplies you may need.

Pink Fresh Hummingbirds
Do you have hummingbirds in your backyard? These tiny, fluttering wonders display varied colorful plumage that you will use as inspiration for these cards. Sharon is using a Pink Fresh stamp set and stencils for these cards. Sharon used Copics and ink blending to color these images. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any additional supplies you may need.

Memory Box Happiness Floral
Memory Box's Open Studio has created a set that features two large floral images along with several happiness themed sentiments. As part of the class you will receive the stamp, a $25 value. Coloring was done with Copics but feel free to bring your favorite coloring medium. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any other supplies you may need.

Simple Stories Vintage Meadow Flowers
Simple Stories papers in plaids with sentiment cut apart and die cut pieces are used to create these six cards. These cards are easy to assemble and don't require any coloring. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any additional supplies you may need.

Floral Folds
Learn a new card folding technique featuring Doodlebug's flowery papers and cut-a-parts. These are bright summery cards that are done with a simple folding technique that can easily be adapted to a variety of patterned papers and occasions. Your basic kit and a scoreboard will help create these cards.

Spectacular Specs
We're reviving a class that had a limited run last summer, Spectacular Specs. Using Concord & 9th's die and stamp set you will make four cards including a shaker. Bright summer colors, heart shaped glasses and more are featured. This is mostly a die cut class with almost no coloring. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any other supplies you may need.

Junk Journal
Sharon has been promising to do a Junk Journal for a while now and the time has finally come! Join Sharon as she shows you how to create and assemble One of these personalized multi-use, multi content loaded journals. Sharon is using a variety of papers including Simple Stories and more. This will be an all-day Saturday class. We expect to have a lot of fun and will take a break for lunch and of course, we'll have snacks! Bring your basic kit, a dish to pass and check the website for any other materials you may need.

Paint Your Own Tote
This is way more fun than paint by number! In this class you will create your own design on a canvas tote and then add color by painting and decorating with Indigo Blue products including Luscious Pigment Powder, Acrylic Paints and Slap it on Binder. You have the freedom to create your own design how you want. Use your own free-hand design or use stencils or stamps and ink, your options are endless. This is the ultimate mixed media personalized project. Supplies will be available at the store but feel free to bring your favorite stencils, palette knife, brushes, and/or stamps and ink. Check the website for any special items you may needmand don't forget a smock or apron!

Watercolor Thursdays!
Welcome to the world of watercolors! This class runs once a month, on a Thursday, and will feature different watercolor mediums and techniques in each session. Please note this is an instructional class and will not always feature a card or a complete project. Even if you haven't attended previous classes but want to learn watercolors, come to class. We will help you get up to speed and show you all the techniques and variety of watercolor mediums. A Stampendous palette, #10 snap brush, and #2 or #3 round brush required. Please note that this session will be solely instructional on watercolor pencils and brush work. No cards will be made.

Quick & Easy Sympathy Cards
In this class we will be using a new paper from Photoplay along with some new floral dies from Pinkfresh to create 6 sympathy cards.  This kit also includes envelopes so you will have these cards on-hand when you need them.  Bring your basic kit along with your favorite brown dye ink pad and a blending tool.

Summer Stamp Camp
You will be making approximately 12+ cards. Please bring along your basic kit, a phone, or a camera to take pictures of the card samples and be prepared to spend a busy, but fun, day making cards! There will be an additional supply list, so be sure to check the 'class supply list' page. If you'd like to bring a snack to share, we wouldn't say no! The cost is $50 per person. Kit options are also available with emailed instructions.

49 & Market Academia Book
49 & Market has added a new designed to their creative team and have released their first new collection called Academia. Sharon will be using elements of this collection to make a small booklet. This booklet can have lots of uses, birthday, graduation and a great masculine gift. Join Sharon and see how this booklet is created using these new papers and ephemera. Bring your basic kit and check the website for any additional materials you may need.

Christmas Kick Start




Maker Mania 10
MM10 is set to roll! Join us for Maker Mania 9 in October. If you are new to Maker Mania or have thought about trying it out, there's no time like this coming September. The lead sponsoring companies have not yet been announced but you will be getting a fabulous selection of quality, and in some cases exclusive products in your kit. You will have access to video from all the participating stores from across the country, Canada and possibly across the pond! Instructional sheets will also be at your fingertips for ALL the projects, cards, albums, and more shown. This allows you access to do a project the next day, the next month or 6 months from the MM8's dates. This is a great creative weekend for all you crafters and you will receive more than enough product such as papers, dies, stamps, stencils, coloring mediums, ephemera and more for many, many additional projects. This is a Facebook group. You must be a member of Facebook to join and receive a kit. NOTE: you can join Facebook and not post or publish any personal information and just use the platform to access this and other classes offered on Facebook. BONUS: As a member of Facebook you can join our store page, see our weekly videos and post your creations to our Buffalo Stamps Makers group. You control what information you choose to share to the platform. You can register for MM10 via our on-line store.

Class Reservation and Payment Policy

Reservations and payment are required for all classes. Classes are to be paid for in cash or check. Payment for classes can be mailed in or made in person. Classes that do not meet attendance requirements will be canceled and you will be notified by phone the day before. Any monies paid will be refunded or you can apply it to another class. If you cancel a class with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay for the class.
